C.C.

Blood Type: Unknown
Nationality: Unknown
This mysterious woman was found in a capsule by Lelouch and Suzaku in the first episode. They save her, believing her to be a cruel test experiment. When Lelouch is faced at gun point, C.C. protects him, taking the bullet. She takes it straight in the forehead, any normal person would have died instantly. Lelouch thinks she is dead too, but when kneeling next to her, what should have been a corpse's hand, grabs his and asks him if he would like to fulfill a contract with her. The terms are, that he will be granted power, but he must fulfill one of her wishes. Before the first season of Code Geass even began, I think viewers were meant to think C.C. the weak spirited, mysterious girl. Posters depict her always looking sad. In the starting theme too, she is depicted as a sad, mysterious girl. But when C.C. reappears in the series, surprising Lelouch at home, C.C. is sarcastic, arrogant, hard to work with, and just generally causes Lelouch a lot of grief (but in a humorous manner, of course). While causing Lelouch a lot of stress, C.C. tells him that she wouldn't do anything that would but him ad a disadvantage; they are partners, accomplices. True to her word, there are many times where C.C. has pulled Lelouch out of a sticky situation. She continues to accompany Lelouch throughout the series. She being the only one who can know of his power, advises and criticizes Lelouch's decisions. Their relationship grows, and they become more trustworthy of each other. Lelouch eventually introduces C.C. to the Order of the Black Knights, C.C. starting to play an important part in his terrorist organization. But really, who is she? Major spoilers start C.C. is obviously not human, she heals at a rapid rate and just won't die. She doesn't age either, she has the ability to give other's the power of Geass, and she herself is not to be affected by Geass. Additionally, she's seen communicating with people we can't see, perhaps the dead? Perhaps people a thousand miles away? In one scene, she is talking to V.V., another Geass giver like herself. In another, she is taking to Marianne, Lelouch's deceased mother. During season 1, glimpses of C.C.'s past can be seen. She's been living for centuries, and has seen many wars of the past. It's eventually revealed that she is a witch. She has lived through much, she has been burned and tortured and killed many times. She can't remember her life as a human, living so long as a witch, she has forgotten. Her life as a human, and all her possible family and friends have been forgotten. She only remembers her name, her human name. In episode 1, she is seen to have been watching over Suzaku and Lelouch as children. In one of the sound episodes, Lelouch meets C.C., he asks what she's doing, and she replies that she was just checking up on them for somebody. Lelouch is confused, and is even more confounded when she disappears. However, he dismisses it as he is looking for Nunnally. He doesn't remember this later on in the series. But C.C. probably does. C.C. is secretive of herself and her past. And even by the end of the series, not much is known about her. It's just known, that she is not human, she has aged through history and has met many historical figures of the past,
