A member of the Britannian military, an excellent Knightmare pilot and a member of the Purists. Jeremiah's first major involvement in the series was using Suzaku as a scapegoat, he labeled Suzaku Clovis's killer without any proof what so ever. The Zero fiasco in episode 4 leaves Jeremiah a disgraced man. His actions have lost the trust of many of his subordinates, and has been labelled "Orange" Soon after, his fellow members of the purists decided to hunt him down, to 'purge' the purists before Cornelia's and Euphemia's arrival. About to die, Jeremiah is saved by none other then Suzaku. Spoilers (sort of) start here. In episode 10, Jeremiah hears of Zero's location, and recklessly charges towards the area. With Zero in his sight, he is about to strike, but is stopped by Kallen and is annihilated by Guren's radiation waves. His Knightmare blows up, and Jeremiah is listed as killed in action. In actual fact, Jeremiah had been saved by the same scientists who were working and experimenting on C.C. He is next seen with almost all of his left side of his body replaced with metal implants. Before all of this, Jeremiah was guard of Aries Palace, the place where Lelouch and Nunnally's mother, Empress Marianne was assassinated. Jeremiah mentally took the blame and deemed this as his own failure to protect Empress Marianne. So like Cornelia, he travelled to Japan; the place where Marianne's children were supposedly killed, to redeem himself.
