The commander of the terrorist group that Lelouch encountered on the first episode, he recognised Zero's leadership and tactical skills and handed over control of the group. He eventually became the deputy commander of the Order of the Black Knights. Ohgi is a very firm and honorable person. Although he is part of a terrorist group, he values life and will not kill someone in a sneaky, underhanded way. Ohgi was the best friend of Kallen's brother Naoto and the two presumably grew up together. Before becoming a terrorist and becoming leader of the resistance, he was a high school teacher. He didn't necessarily want to take up leadership of the group, but left his teaching life in order to fulfill Naoto's dreams. Spoilers Start Here After Shirley shot Viletta, Ohgi found her weak and at the doors of death. She muttered something about Zero, and he took her in and nursed her back to health. When she wakes up, she has no memory of her past and no longer remembers Zero's identity. Despite Viletta's amnesia, Ohgi continues to protect her, letting her live in his apartment. The two eventually fall inlove.
