Rollo makes his appearance in Code Geass R2. Nunnally has disappeared, and instead of a little sister, Lelouch finds himself with a little brother, Rollo. At first Rollo seems innocent enough, he shows real concern and care for his older brother. But soon we find that Rollo isn't all he seems. As the pilot of the Lancelot-mass production prototype, Vincent, Rollo becomes one of Lelouch's greatest obstacles and threats. What's more threatening and mysterious, he has the power of Geass. It's soon revealed that Rollo's Geass is controlling peoples' perception of time, essentially "freezing" people. Because of his Geass, he is the perfect assassin, and has been working in the Britannian Secret Intelligence as a child. When Lelouch confronts him with a gun at the end of Turn 3, Rollo uses his Geass on Lelouch to reverse the situation. And soon Rollo's mission is stated: find and capture C.C. by staying close to the bait, Lelouch Lamperouge, pretending that he is Lelouch's younger brother. If Lelouch's memories of being Zero ever return, kill him. But Rollo's time with Lelouch changes something in Rollo. It's not certain, but it seems that Rollo starts to care about Lelouch, a bit. Lelouch uses this to his advantage, and manipulates Rollo, telling him that he thinks of him as a brother, and that Rollo's future is beside Lelouch, not completing assassination missions.
