Stage 05, The Princess and the Witch

Lelouch walks home and to his shock, is greeted by the green haired girl named C.C, who is casually making origami with Nunnally. He drags her off and asks who she is, and casually replies that she's C.C. She in turn asks him if he likes the power she gave him. He replies that he's grateful, now he can destroy Britannia a lot earlier then expected.
Suzaku is found innocent from lack of evidence. As he walks out of the building, he encounters a pink haired girl falling from the sky, claiming that she's being chased by bad people, and asks for his help.
Meanwhile, the group of "Purists" are discussing what to do with Jeremiah, most who believe that he's guilty.
The girl introduces herself as Euphie, Suzaku is about to introduce himself, but Euphie tells him not to take off his glasses, since he's the famous son of Captain Kururugi, Private Kururugi Suzaku. Suzaku is about to ask her if she was lying about bad people chasing her (which she obviously is) but she is distracted, playing with a stray cat. Lloyd and Cecil drive their van there to pick him up, and Lloyd sees him with the girl, and decides not to disturb them.
Suzaku again asks her why she lied, she asks if he's worried about her, which he replies the he is, so she takes his arm and asks for him to come with her. They walk around, and Euphie tells him that she's from the motherland, and she came to see what Area 11 is like. She tells him, that she's glad that it was Suzaku who showed her around. She asks for one more place to go, and that's the Shinjuku ghetto.
At Ashford Academy, Kallen approaches Lelouch, and asks if he knows if there are call logs. He looks up and tells her it's the school's phone so he couldn't know, to his shock, C.C is casually walking around the campus. Kallen almost turns around to see what he's looking at, but he grabs her face, and to Shirley who was walking past, it looked like they were kissing.
On a plane, General Bartre is being sent back to the mainland, chained and with his hands tied behind his back.
Lelouch drags C.C up to the rooftop, asking what the hell she's doing. She tells him its fine if she stays within school grounds. She sees a girl carving a mark on the wall; Lelouch explains that he was testing how long the Geass would work. She asks what a Geass is, and he replies that it's what she said during the contract. He implies that if she gets out of hand, he might use it on her. She replies that it might not work on her, but he shouldn’t' worry since the two are accomplices and she wouldn't do anything disadvantageous to them.
In Shinjuku, the rubble has been turned into a memorial, with pieces of paper and various items stuck up in memory of the people who died. Euphie looks sadly at these in silence. Their silence is broken by two ignorant Britannian students who are happily taking pictures of the destruction.
Meanwhile, Jeremiah is in his Knightmare talking to some men at the Purists' base, who tell him that they got information about Zero straight from Curel (another Purist member). He heads for the Shinjuku area, because the information stated that Zero was there.
Some of the Eleven terrorists (Tamaki and some others) whack the camera out of the Britannian student's hand, angrily telling them to get lost. Suzaku rushes towards them, telling them not to resort to violence, Tamaki whacks his sunglasses off and they recognise him as Kururugi Suzaku. Tamaki scoffs at him, calling him a slave to the Britannians. He's about to punch him, calling him a dog of Britannia, but Suzaku easily avoids it and flips him over on the floor.
Tamaki and his friends drop it and walk away. Euphie runs up and asks if Suzaku's ok, but the Britannian students are more worried about their camera. They insult Suzaku, telling him that he should've finished them off, since he must've killed many Elevens before. Euphie walks up to him and slaps the guy.
C.C and Lelouch are inside, and Lelouch explains everything he's found out about the Geass, from penetrating glasses, its longest distance, its effect on memories etc.
Then Lelouch asks C.C if it would be fine it he were strong, and at the same time Suzaku asks Euphie if it's bad to be weak. Simultaneously, Lelouch and Suzaku tell C.C and Euphemia about their feelings when they were 10. That the world was a sad place, filled with fear, sickness, corruption, decay, discrimination, war, terrorism, it was a repeated and vicious cycle, and someone must break that cycle. They both know that they're not powerful enough to get rid of all that, but Suzaku says he would at least like a world with no war. C.C asks Lelouch what he wants to do to stop things. Lelouch tells her that if someone wins, the fighting will cease. Euphie asks the same thing, and Suzaku replies that he doesn't know, but he needs to keep aiming for something, or his father would have died in vain.
Suzaku and Euphie are interrupted, in a nearby stadium, Jeremiah is being attacked by the other Purists, who are punishing him for letting Clovis's killer escape, and getting rid of him before Cornelia arrives. It's Jeremiah vs. four other Knightmares.
Cecil and Lloyd, who have been following Suzaku, tell him to get away from them. But Suzaku asks if it would be a chance to get data on Lancelot. Lloyd smiles. Suzaku tells Euphie that he can do something with Lancelot, he can stop them.
Jeremiah is getting owned, and is about to get killed, but Lancelot interrupts their battle and comes to Jeremiah's aid. HE takes care of three Knightmares, and the last one is about to take out Jeremiah, but Viletta comes to his aid.
Curel tells his comrades to move away, as he's about to use a powerful 'Chaos Bomb'. Just in that moment, Euphie rushes in, yelling at everyone to stop. Lancelot rushes in front of her and brings out his shield, which barely survives the bomb. Euphie yells at both sides to lower their weapons, and reveals her true identity.
Curel and everyone else are completely shocked, and bow to Euphemia. Suzaku jumps out of Lancelot, and apologises for his not knowing her identity, and acting rude towards her. Euphemia turns towards him, and tells him that she has lost her brother Clovis, as he has lost his father. She asks if he'll lend his strength so others won't lose their loved ones. He bows, and tells her he is not worthy of her words.
Later on, Euphemia meets with Cornelia, who tells her not to be so reckless.
The next day at school, Lelouch and the rest of the class are shocked. Suzaku walks into their class, and tells them that he will be a student at Ashford Academy from now on.
Rating: 3.5/5
Comment: Besides the entrance of two new Britannian royalty, not much happened in the episode, the episode was concentrated on Euphemia's and Suzaku's date so, meh. And C.C makes another appearance. Euphemai is such a Lacus clone... -emily
