Stage 06, The Stolen Mask

Meanwhile, Euphemia is looking at Clovis’s paintings, trying to grasp what kind of person her deceased brother was. At the same time Cornelia is attacking a terrorist group, looking for clues on Zero. She completely annihilates them with ease.
At the end of the day, Lelouch tells Nunnally that he has a present for her. Suzaku walks in, and touches her hands. Nunnally cries of joy, instantly knowing who it is.
Jeremiah is released from confinement, along with his new nickname "Orange-kun" and is dropped 3 ranks for allowing Zero to go free.
Suzaku leaves, telling Lelouch that they should pretend that they don't know each other, incase anybody catches on about Lelouch's and Nunnally's true identities. The next day at school Suzaku is ridiculed again, with his belongings being vandalised and people avoiding him.
Back at the clubhouse, a cat (the on from the previous episode!) sneaks in and 'steals' the Zero helmet, Lelouch shrieks as the cat runs away wearing the Zero helmet on his head.
Millay, Rivalz and Nina arrive at the clubhouse, and deduct that the cat must have stolen one of Lelouch's embarrassing belongings.
So begin the chase! Lelouch runs all around the campus, Geassing everyone who sees the Zero helmet, but to Lelouch's (Kallen's and Shirley's too!) great dismay, Millay holds a school-wide search for a cat running around the school with the reward of a kiss from a Student Council member.
Lelouch meets Suzaku running after the cat, and together they corner it on top a roof with half the school as their audience. Lelouch starts to slip, and almost falls off but Suzaku saves him, and at the same time, Zero's helmet falls off the cat behind the building. While Lelouch runs off to get his helmet, Suzaku is thanked and praised for saving Lelouch. When Lelouch comes back, he reveals that he and Suzaku are friends and requests to have Suzaku in the Student Council. He is welcomed with open arms.
At the end of the episode, the Emperor of Britannia presents a speech, speaking of equality with disdain and insult, and those who support it, and exclaims people were born to be different and it is the way towards evolution. Lelouch glares at him with the fiercest hate in his eyes.

Comment/Review:
Most of the episode was pretty useless, but still interesting and funny. I think the scene with Suzaku and Nunnally was very well done. - emily
