Stage 08, The Order of Black Knights

Meanwhile, Zero is introducing his comrades to their new base. They turn on the television, and watch a news broadcast. The Japanese Liberation Front have hotel jacked the Kawaguchiko Hotel, holding many people, including the Student Council hostage. Britannian troops have attempted to storm the building, but their attempts have failed. Cornelia's men deduct that the only route to rescue the hostages would be to go through a lifeline tunnel, destroy the hotel's foundation block and sink the hotel.
However, the Japanese Liberation Front have a new weapon, "Mercury (II) Fulminate" easily wipes out 3 Knightmares with one shot.
Cornelia's troops are at a loss, among those hostages is Princess Euphemia, and they can't get past the Japanese Front's defences. Even so, she is not allowing Suzaku's Lancelot to participate in the Rescue mission as he is an Eleven.
Back at the base, Zero is contemplating what to do. He knows Cornelia will not give any thought to the hostages, but since she hasn't made a move, there must be someone particularly important there. Ougi comes in, asking why they have uniforms if they're only a resistance. Zero exclaims that they are no a resistance but they are protectors of justice.
At night, negotiations are still being made; Suzaku and Lancelot still aren't allowed to do anything. He and Cecil look towards the hotel; the Japanese Liberation Front is slowly shoving their hostages off the hotel, leading them to their deaths. Cornelia is still firm about not showing weakness to the terrorists, but their position is becoming more desperate, with one of the hostages dying every 30 minutes. She is interrupted in her thoughts, as Zero has contacted her.
On top of a stolen military car, Zero drives straight into Cornelia's base. She is about to shoot him, vengeance for her brother Clovis's death, until Zero asks who is more important to her, Clovis or Euphemia? He claims that he will save Euphemia, so the two form a temporary truce.
Zero is let into the hotel, with the Japanese Liberation front hoping to meet him. Cornelia instructs Lancelot to charge in through the tunnel and go straight towards the enemy to act as bait. Cecil is against in, but Suzaku is willing to do whatever it takes to save the hostages.
In the hotel, Nina sees one of the Liberation Front members walk past, and whispers, "Eleven..." The member gets angry, screaming that they're called Japanese. Millay and Shirley try to apologise (very arrogantly O_o) and the member gets even more pissed, Nina screams as she is about to be dragged off. Euphemia stands up, asking to be taken to their leader, revealing her true identity.
Meanwhile, Zero is negotiating with the leader, Lieutenant Kuskabe, asking him what he wishes to accomplish by taking the people hostages. Kuskabe replies he wants the world to know that the Japanese are still alive. Zero responds that they're old, and they can't be saved.
At the same time, Lancelot is launched, and attacks head on.
Back with Zero, he is about to be attacked by Kuskabe, but he quickly uses Geass on him, ordering him to die. Euphemia comes in with other Japanese Liberation Front members, Zero tells him not to worry, as the others have committed suicide realising how useless their actions were.
Lancelot is advancing well through the tunnel; he decides to use a new weapon, Varis.
Zero has a private meeting with Euphemia, while Ougi and the others are holding the Japanese Liberation Front at gunshot. He congratulates her on becoming Vice Governor General. Euphemia retaliates that it's nothing to be happy about, since it's only because he killed Clovis. She asks if he killed him because he ordered to murder the Elevens, he replies he killed Clovis because he was a child of the Imperial Emperor of Britannia. He holds a gun up at Euphemia, since she is one too.
With Lancelot again, the Japanese Liberation Front are still fighting him, charging their weapon at full power. Suzaku shoots his Varis, overpowering their weapon with no problem. He blows up their Glasgow Knightmare, while blowing up a hole in the tunnel. He jumps out, and fires at the hotel's foundation block, and the hotel quickly starts sinking. Zero glares at the Lancelot, he presses a trigger, blowing up the upper part of the hotel with bombs Ougi and the others planted before hand. The hotel starts crumbling, Suzaku jumps in hoping to save everyone.
The hotel is left in ruins, and everyone thinks the hostages have been killed. But Zero reveals on live television (with a camera he stole before hand), that he had already saved the hostages. He introduces the Order of the Black Knights, and explains he punished the Japanese Liberation Front for killing the Britannians in cold blood, and he punished Prince Clovis for killing Elevens with no weapons. The Order of the Black Knights will protect those with no power, and punish those who abuse their power.
