Stage 13, Shirley and the Gun Point
As the funeral ends, the Academy students approach Shirley. Milly asks if she's cried it out yet, and Shirley replies that she had cried enough, thinking on the night where Lelouch kissed her. Suzaku interrupts her thoughts, he calls the Order of the Black Knights despicable.
Milly and the rest leave, leaving Lelouch and Shirley alone. She apologises for being manipulative; Lelouch had not choice to kiss her. She took the wrong method, and the result was worthless.
Later on, Lelouch is sitting with his back to C.C. She chastises him, saying that he's weak, and telling him he's killed many people using his words. The people who he killed had friends and family. She tells him that he's been swayed by his foolish emotions, and that even if he acts high up, he's just a naive boy who's all talk and dreams. Lelouch pushes her onto the bed at this point, but she merely says that he has not right to do nothing.
In the shower, Lelouch recalls many past events: the emperor's speech, the moment he killed Clovis, and Kirihara's words.
Lloyd approaches Suzaku, telling him that he's been requested to become part of an operation.
Zero and the rest of the Order hold another meeting. Their new informant, Diethard, informed them that Cornelia wants a Japanese Liberation Front member, General Katase alive. Zero states that Colonel Toudoh hasn't met up with Katase yet, and so the Japanese Liberation Front doesn't have enough military power to win the next battle. Ohgi states that rather then fighting Cornelia, they should help Katase. Zero counters that by eliminating Cornelia and her army, they will be rescuing the Japanese Liberation Front.
Suzaku is meeting one of Cornelia's subordinates Darlton. He states that people have concerns on using numbers, but his policy is to use anyone useful. He explains the operation, that Suzaku will provide cover for the naval unit who are going after Katase, and once that's accomplished, he is to exterminate any surviving Japanese Liberation Front members. Suzaku is disgusted, but Darlton tells him to show his loyalty Britannia.
Shirley is wandering around near the Order of the Black Knight's base. She recalls her conversation with Viletta, who suggested that Lelouch may have joined the Order.
Meanwhile, Lelouch is taking a break, he has a towel over his head in a dark garage. Kallen walks in wanting to talk to him (and although his face can't be seen) she excuses herself and walks away. Lelouch asks her if she's confused. Kallen replies that she does this for the sake of justice; it's why she kills people. She asks him if they can change the world with their actions. He replies that they must change it, and that people will die; that's the reason they have to do something. He tells Kallen that if she wants to turn back now, she can. But Kallen replies that she'll move forward together with him.
C.C is walking near the area with working clothes on. She tells herself that she can't repeat the same mistakes as before. As she says this, there is a quick scene change to a man with unusual glasses and white hair.
Cornelia commences the operation to capture Katase. Underwater units are deployed, they deploy their torpedoes. Ohgi asks Zero if they should act, but Zero tells him he should wait. The Liberation Front is being completely destroyed. They send a surrender signal, but Darlton tells his units to ignore it.
Ohgi tells Zero that Knightmares have boarded the Liberation Front ship. Zero presses a button, and the whole ship ignites. He tells Ohgi that it was a suicide attack, and he starts the Order's attack. Lelouch and Kallen go after Cornelia. Cornelia is overwhelmed by them, and Zero is about to shoot, but he sees Shirley standing nearby. He hesitates, and Lancelot takes him by surprise, completely destroying his Knightmare, leaving the cockpit rolling over to where Shirley's standing. Shirley picks up a gun that fell on the floor, and Zero's head is out side the cockpit. She is about to avenge her father, but Zero's helmet falls off, revealing Lelouch's face.

Comments: This was a kind of confusing episode, I didn't really know what was happening (until now, my third time watching the episode). But it was a good episode. Lelouch with his shirt off = yay.
