Stage 18, I Order Kururugi Suzaku

Meanwhile, Suzaku is getting knighted. There are whispers about him going on through the room and looks of disapproval, but he continues, and is declared a Knight. When he stands up, Lloyd claps for him, and the rest of the crowd joins in to a huge applaud.
Going to a flashback, memory type scene, Diethard, suggests assassinating Kururugi, as he will be the flag of surrender for the Japanese. Toudou on the other hand, believes it's too cowardly and will not win over the Japanese people, and Ougi agrees, saying that they will not kill unarmed people.
Lelouch is in his room with C.C., who claims it's an easy thing, but his honor, pride and friendship stand in the way, and that he'll end up killed.
Euphemia talks to Cornelia by phone, Cornelia obviously doesn't approve, saying that Britannia distinguishes themselves from numbers. Euphemia says that she wants to change that.
A scene change to the Emperor of Britannia. One of his people come up to him and mentions, "Should we do anything about Lamperouge?" The emperor just sneers, letting the challenge to come.
At school, Rivalz is holding a party for Suzaku's knighting. Nina is the only one not participating in the party. Lloyd comes in, and sees the stuff on her computer, asking if it's Uranium. Nina says yes, and explains its properties. Lloyd takes off his glasses, seeming very interested in her research.
Kallen walks into the party, although Shirley calls her, she just moves towards Suzaku, gripping her pocket-knife as she walks. She's about to take out her knife, but suddenly, Lelouch takes her hand and tells her to help out Shirley. When Shirley spots Lelouch, she glares. Lloyd and Nina walk in, and he tells Suzaku that he'll have more work to do soon. Millay comes by and asks what Lloyd is doing, and since Nina asks how they know each other, he says, very loudly that they are engaged. Rivalz completely freaks out. Lloyd tells Suzaku that they need to pick somebody up, and that Lancelot and Euphemia need to tag along.
Later on, Lloyd, Cecil and Suzaku are on a boat going to Shikinejima, an island to receive an important guest. At the same time, The Order of the Black Knights holds a meeting, their objective being to capture Suzaku and Lancelot, to capture him in a true battle. Toudou and Kallen smile to themselves. When the meeting finishes, Zero talks to Diethard alone, asking him what he told Kallen, since he did not order anyone to assassinate anyone. Diethard exclaims that it's not a cowardly thing, but something to allow people to believe in justice and that the truth can be covered up. Zero asks his objective, and Diethard replies that he wants to film and record Zero, somebody who created a team and will take down a country and someday rule the world. Lelouch retaliates, that it will become fiction if Diethard is involved.
Euphemia, Suzaku and the others arrive at the island, only to be attacked by The Order of the Black Knights. Euphemia sends Suzaku to fight back. Meanwhile, Kallen and the others are completely owning, until Tamaki is surprise attacked by Lancelot. The others, except for Zero all retreat, and Suzaku recklessly charges on towards him, straight into a sand trap Laksharta developed spanning a huge area. Lancelot breaks down, and Zero asks if he will appear, and will treat him accordingly to national treaties. If not, they will shoot from all sides.
Lloyd, Cecil and Euphemia are watching one. Lloyd explains that there are some parts that got jammed with a Gefjun Disturber. He thought it was only in planning stage.
Back outside, Suzaku reveals himself, and Zero asks him to join them. Suzaku repeats himself from before, saying that results from the wrong methods are meaningless. Zero asks him if the peace right now is meaningless. If Japan had not surrendered 7 years ago, then China and Europe would have invaded, and Japan would still be in war.
Suzaku replies, that he fights so the peace his father brought wouldn't be destroyed. Lelouch says he's wrong, since Prime Minister Kururugi didn't want to surrender, and the one who killed him was the one who decided it, and that the government system went into chaos and all they could do was surrender. People's will were taken away. Suzaku steps back in shock, wondering how 'he knows'. Zero tells him that he can redeem himself by giving support to the Japanese who had no choice at that time. Suzaku doesn't want another war, but Zero says that it is another path, and if he wants his philosophy to be enforced on everyone in the future, and that that is not peace.
Suzaku gets a call on his transmitter, which Zero allows him to pick up. The Commander of Shikinejima explains that a missile is being aimed at the terrorists, and that Suzaku is to detain Zero there. Zero hears, and is stunned by the fact that Suzaku is ordered to kill himself along with the Order. Suzaku snatches Zero's gun, and twists it to point it at Zero's own head.
Lloyd, Cecil and Euphemia run out and protest, but the Guards say that is a class one order, and Euphemia's will cannot change it.
Missiles start going on their radars, and Kallen recklessly charges in to save Zero, but her Knightmare is also affected by the Gefjun Disturber. Suzaku shoves Zero into the cockpit of Lancelot. Zero shouts back if it's ok to just die like this. Suzaku doesn't answer, but his transmitter goes on, saying that the country's biggest traitor would be eliminated thanks to him, and that he will be remembered by all.
Toudou shouts out an order to all Knightmares to destroy incoming missiles.
Kallen jumps out of her Guren Nishiki, and calls for Suzaku to let Zero free, revealing that she's Kallen Stadfeld from the Student Council.
Euphemia uses a Knightmare, rushing to where Suzaku is.
Even with all the commotion, Suzaku and Zero are still debating. Suzaku exclaims that soldiers must follow orders, Zero just sneers, saying that just listening to others makes things easier. He asks what on earth Suzaku was thinking of, but Suzaku replies that it is a rule he's set for himself.
All of a sudden, a huge shadow casts over the area. A gigantic ship hovers above them.
Zero shouts at Suzaku, revealing his eye, about to use Geass.
In the last second, Prince Schneizel waves his hand, an order to fire, and the area is obliterated.

Comments/Review: New starting song pics. I think they suit Kaidoku Funou better. Ish, some parts were pretty retarded. I liked the ending picture, with a zoom out of Lelouch and the Order of the Black Knights behind him. The Nina part was pretty ineresting, I think Nuclear-energy-stuff will definitely play a part in the future. Somebody slap Euphemia, please. -Emily
